Nicholas L. Broetzmann, a seasoned professional with a rich background in EMS and the fire service, has earned a well-deserved promotion to Operations Manager at Orange Cross, effective June 1, 2023. Nick's extensive experience and commitment to excellence have shaped his career and contributed to his rise through the ranks.

Educated at Cedar Grove-Belgium High School, Lakeshore Technical College, and Fox Valley Technical College, Nick's expertise is reflected in a comprehensive set of certifications, including EMT-Basic, Firefighter I & II, Haz-Mat Technician, Paramedic, and more. These qualifications laid the foundation for his diverse professional journey, spanning roles at Cedar Grove Fire Department, Cedar Grove First Responders, Sheboygan County Fire Investigation Unit, and other esteemed organizations.

Nick joined Orange Cross in October 2014, and his contributions as Supply and Logistics Officer were instrumental in enhancing the operational efficiency of the organization. He possesses a special talent for identifying operational issues and developing practical solutions that streamline processes or tasks in innovative ways. Nick's vast knowledge of incident management as well as fleet and facilities operations, combined with his excellent mechanical aptitude, has proven invaluable to Orange Cross.

During his tenure as Supply and Logistics Officer, Nick displayed an innate ability to understand the intricacies of EMS operational management and supply chain. His practical insights and unique perspective on process optimization helped Orange Cross maintain a commitment to excellence and quality service in the community.

Outside of EMS, Nick has engaged in various roles, from customer service to USCG Captain of his own boat with Resuscitation Charters, reflecting his versatility and adaptability. His broad range of experience and insights have been a cornerstone of Orange Cross's growth and success.

As Operations Manager, Nick is poised to play a larger role in shaping Orange Cross's presence in Sheboygan County.
