If you haven't started already, now is the perfect time to begin plans for National EMS Week, May 17 to 23. The occasion is your opportunity to invite the public, community leaders and government officials to tour your operation and meet the people behind the siren, the newspaper headlines, and everyday heroes delivering patient care and serving as your community's emergency medical safety net.
National EMS Week is presented by the American College of Emergency Physicians and is in partnership with the National Association of EMTs.
If you need EMS Week ideas or a planning guide, one is available from ACEP at this link EMS Week website, or by emailing emsweek@acep.org.
Don't miss this opportunity to proudly share your EMS passion with the public and other healthcare professionals, as well as recognize and celebrate your ambulance service and emergency medical services.
