The official announcement from the state's EMS Office is forthcoming; however, two regional coordinators have been hired to buildup staff numbers and tackle the amount of work and requirements coming through the office to manage the state's EMS system.  The statewide system is comprised of over 600 ambulance services, emergency first responders, and training centers, and16,500 individual licensed providers.
