Eric Flood attained his EMT license in December of 1999 and, at the time, was the youngest member of the RBA family who is now one of our most valued.
He has held many positions at Ryan Brothers including management and is currently a Senior Medic, CEVO Instructor, and Field Trainer. Eric has continued his education and licensure up to a Critical Care Paramedic level. Eric is quiet in nature but his skill in EMS speaks volumes. He is one of the most efficient, knowledgeable, kind, and professional providers. Leadership has stated multiple times – Eric is who we would want in the back of our own ambulance. He has saved many patients' lives with his commitment to excellent patient care and high standards for himself. He is always willing to share his wisdom in mentoring newer staff and providing a calming influence in the toughest situations. He even lends his artistic abilities in drawing pictures for staff to brighten their day. Eric is the proud father of two sons, Bryce (12) and Sean (18) . He enjoys spending his time away from the trucks engaging in outdoor activities like camping and kayaking with his boys. He is also a first-degree black belt in taekwondo which never hurts to have on an unsafe scene. It is our distinct honor to nominate Eric as a Star of Life, we are thankful for his exemplary service and dedication to Ryan Brothers and our EMS community.
