Dr. Ben Weston has served as the Medical Director for Milwaukee County for three years.

Not only does he provide medical direction for the 14 fire departments within Milwaukee County but is an important conduit to private providers, hospitals and the entire health care system.  As such, Dr. Weston was named as Milwaukee County’s inaugural Chief Health Policy Advisor in August 2021. This position further promotes and advises on health and equity goals for the County.  He needed this as he was not busy enough being Medical Director, an Associate Professor at the Medical College, an emergency room doctor at Froedtert and Dad.

Dr. Weston has continued to impact and progress EMS services in Milwaukee County.
