Darlene Merow started with Sparta Ambulance in January of 1993!  She currently holds the role of Assistant Director and is also an Advanced EMT, she is not only a leader but a great mentor for all on our service. 

Her can-do attitude is what empowers our employees to be lifelong learners- to always be the best they can be and to model themselves with compassion and empathy for all.   She is very well known for her Triple Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate chip brownies, our team just calls them Crack Brownies, you best hope you are on shift when they come out of the oven, because they will never last to the next shift change.
