Katie is an experienced paramedic who began her career at Gold Cross Ambulance in September 2011, having previously gained valuable experience at Waupaca Area Ambulance. Throughout her tenure at Gold Cross, Katie has taken on various roles including supervisor, scheduler/payroll coordinator, dispatcher, FTO, EMR liaison, and special events coordinator. She is currently an Operations Manager where her role and experience is impacting the community and staff every day.

Katie is the best cheerleader for EMS and Gold Cross. Her positive attitude, ability to make everyone laugh, and passion for the highest level of care for patients has a positive impact to our staff and patients. During COVID, Katie was responsible for the seemly impossible task of staffing and schedule. She would go above and beyond to take care of staff and show appreciation. This included special snacks, candy, bonuses, and the well-deserved “thank you” that EMS doesn’t hear enough.

Katie is not only dedicated to public safety and healthcare at work but at home as well. She is married to a Green Bay fire medic and together have a son that is growing up appreciating the dedication his parents have for community and safety.
