Over the past seven years, Ben has become an invaluable member of our team, developing a deep connection to our western service area and growing into a trusted leader and advocate for rural EMS.
Ben has embraced the role of Rural Supervisor with a strong sense of purpose, pride, and dedication. He not only oversees day-to-day operations but actively engages with community partners, ensuring our services remain responsive and compassionate amidst the evolving challenges of rural health care. His collaborative work with hospital leadership has been instrumental in preparing Gold Cross for the unique and often complex realities of rural medicine.
In addition to his leadership role, Ben serves as a Field Training Officer, where he mentors and supports new team members. His calm demeanor, vast knowledge, and patient teaching style create a positive learning environment that fosters confidence and professionalism in our future providers.
Ben is a true embodiment of the Gold Cross mission and vision. His advocacy for rural healthcare, his investment in team development, and his commitment to community-focused EMS make him an ideal candidate for the Star of Life award. We are proud to have him on our team.
Congratulations, Ben!
